No, it works fine with 60hz, but I don't know why it wouldn't work with a 144hz monitor while recording at 60fps (I guess 60 not being divisible by 144 could be a problem, but I'm no expert).

So, whenever I try to record my CPU usage immediately jumps to 100% and my framerate drops to 30fps max.
