I have a desktop computer that is plugged right into the modem. How can I get the app to see my computer? Do I have to get a wireless device plugged into my desktop?

Hello. I'm a new user of Action. I bought my copy in late 2015 and did not really use it yet. I launched it today and see I have version 1.29. I see that there is now version 2x. Is the upgrade free for existing customers or do I have to buy the newer versions?
