Sorry I don't have any solutions. I just wanted to chime in and say that my recordings in Battlefield 3 don't have this problem. Record 1920 x 1200 @ 30fps.

But based on Mr. Alpha's last reply it is not a BF3 problem and more of something on his system not working as it should.

I'm having the same problem as Monk32. Will not record any video either in a game, desktop or section of windows. Audio only recording and screenshot do work. Hangs when trying to close Action and I have to end process through task manager. Tried disabling my antivirus, Avast, and Action worked fine...
