Just to close this off. I discovered that several Optional Vista updates had not been applied. I have applied those now, and the problem seems to have been remedied.

Hi there I never used to have a problem playing MP4 with Splash lite, but for the last few days I have not been able to get audio on MP4 (H.264/AVC/AAC). Audio works fine with HD video, but not MP4 I can play MP4 on other players (eg Quicktime) and get audio. Any ideas how to remedy this? Thanks a l...
