@mirillis team (Ghost): I´ve just realized that Splash can´t open WMV (WMV3, WMV9/WVC1) files. That means I can´t open high-definition files like e.g. WMV-HD or VC-1 in a WMV container. Is there a specific reason for that? There´s a lot of WMV content out there and VC-1 will get used more and more. ...

E.g. I could play one VC-1 files that always has been very problematic with various other player, codec and splitter combinations I´ve tested without having to configure anything at all. Now, the CPU usage with Splash is nothing short of unbelievable. I couldn´t believe that it plays back this part...
