Re: ver. 1.0.0 - DONT WORK AT ALL

The hardware requirements should be more specific about CPU features. At least the installer (not the program itself, because it's already installed and the user is angry ;)) should detect whether the CPU has SSE2 and continue or abort the installation accordingly. GHOST: thanx for this suggestion, ...

Re: crushed blacks and tearing

You can change the color space in some video players - when using ffdshow, you disable all color modes in Output, except RGB32. It forces the 0-255 output. Media Player Classic Home Cinema uses shaders to change the colors to fit that mode. So it seems Splash could use some way of altering the black...

Re: Motion2 and integrated graphics?

I don't think memory is the problem, Splash doesn't take that much of RAM. Unless it needs some more video RAM, but if it's not using the GPU for processing, I don't think that's the case. I'll install .net 3.0 later today and experiment some more. Insufficient processing power - don't think that's ...

Re: If we see PRO this week...

Well, I am also interested in Splash PRO. But there is allready a nice and working sollution for free. I am watching HD MKV-s using real-time framerate conversion to 60/75/90 fps with almost no artefacts and soap effect for months now. You just need MPC-HC, ffdshow and avisynth with MVTools, everyt...

Re: Motion2 and integrated graphics?

So, since Motion2 doesn't currently use the GPU, why isn't it working on my HTPC? Here are full specs: CPU: Athlon 4850e (2500MHz, dual core) RAM: 1GB (with 128MB shared with IGP) Graphics: 780G integrated graphics Operating system: Windows XP SP3 Catalyst Driver version: old, like 8.11 or something...

Motion2 and integrated graphics? - SOLVED

I realize the requirements for Motion2 include a GPU, but is the 780G integrated graphics really not enough? I tested the Pro version on my quad core + Radeon 4850 and it works flawlessly. Low CPU usage (much, much lower than an avisynth script floating around the web) and pretty low GPU usage - GPU...

Re: motion2

This is a very common reaction to frame interpolation. Many people who saw HD video on a high end HDTV, which has some interpolation technique built-in, say the picture is weird. It was the same with me at first - movies seemed like shot with a hand camera and sometimes felt... too quick? But I got ...

Re: April came and went...

It's dual core and handles 1080p flawlessly, especially with DXVA enabled. So I was wondering if Motion2 could work at least with 720p video. I will experiment later today and see if the integrated graphics can do any OpenCL :P

Re: April came and went...

The 4850 I'm talking about is the processor's name ;) Athlon 4850e (2500MHz, Brisbane core), to be exact, so sorry for the confusion. I don't think the integrated 780G graphics is really capable of performing anything more than DXVA ;)
