That sounds about right... The i5 CPU's annihilate majority of the Phenom dual core and quad core CPU's in any threaded environment. Applications make better use of the hyper threading technology than clock speed and cores. Your i5 is a way better CPU for interpolation. It's not really a big deal, ...

Oddly enough, disabling hardware acceleration through ATI seems to help alleviate some of the problems. The CPU usage is almost the same (lower in some cases); however, motion² seems to be running better without the graphics card intervening. So, if you are experiencing high cpu usage or jerky motio...
