Re: Recording with intel quicksync is locking my frame rate

Also I would like to add that unless I set action as a priority thread under task manager the videos often jump in places. I am using an intel i5 @ 3.8 ghz per core, 8gb memory and NVidia 670.

Re: Recording with intel quicksync is locking my frame rate

Its set to 30 fps.

If I set 60fps and the game fps drops below that say 40's at points the video records all jerky and fails sometimes. But by setting 30fps in action it limits my game fps in any arma 2 mod or game.

Recording with intel quicksync is locking my frame rate

Whenever I am in arma 2 games and I record in 1080p using Intel quick sync it locks my frames from 60 fps down to 30. When I stop recording my frames go back up to 60. For some reason when recording with Action it locks my arma 2 frame rate to 30. Why is this happening?

Re: Problems recording Arma2 & 3 and DayZ

No the game is on my SSD and I record direct to another HDD on sata6. Almost as if it locks my fps to 30 when it starts recording there is no variation higher.

Re: Intel Quick Sync - big fps drop when recording

Problems recording Arma2 & 3 and DayZ

When I record at 60 fps at 1080p using Intel Quick sync sometimes when the frames in game drop to 30 or 40 it can cause the video to shudder and screw up totally. Then when I drop the recording fps in Action to 30 fps 1080p it drops my frame rate in game down to 30 fps like it is locking the frame r...
