Glad to see that development on splash is underway once more. While none of the fixes are overwhelmingly exciting (unless you are japanese), its still great to see continued support. Also of note, I would rather see a paid upgrade (say 10 - 20 bucks) to fully round out this player as opposed to not...

I do think it's lifetime, you can use it "as is" at the time of the purchase for as long as you want. No one promised you that new features will be free of charge, only minor updates and bug fixes. I'm not talking about different versions like Pro and Pro Export, but the same program throughout all...
