Re: Mad Riders.

Happy to report that 1.6.1 works practically flawless with this game now: http://youtu.be/0TR5Jc4hLSQ
The hiccup at 00:11 seems to be a fluke, as further recording did not see it repeated. :)

Re: Fic Decoder question

Indeed it does: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/67544/VirtualDub%201.10.0%20-%20%5BMadRidersGame_x86%2007-07-2012%2001-04-48.fic%5D%20-%2008-07-2012%20%2C%2001_21_44.jpg Even an older version of Virtualdub as you can see, so I do not think the version matters. But I must admit to having quite a few extras ...

Re: Fic Decoder question

Please try using the latest experimental Virtualdub:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtual ... p/download
Copy file to folder again, etc.
If that does not work, then I'm completely out of ideas.

Re: Fic Decoder question

Create the Plugins32 folder yourself and copy the file there. :)

Re: Fic Decoder question

Sorry, I forgot that you also needed the Directshow input driver plugin - http://www.virtualdub.org/beta/DShowInp ... r-0.93.zip
Copy DShowInputDriver.vdplugin to the Plugins32 folder, and you should be good to go. :)

Re: Fic Decoder question

You could always start with Virtualdub - http://www.virtualdub.org/
It only exports to AVI, but can do pretty much everything - and it's free.

Mad Riders.

Can any of you manage to capture gameplay without issues?
I'm getting some serious hiccups: http://youtu.be/4lB2mXT5EGs
Fraps does an even worse job though. Must be something about this title.

You may halt your investigations, the latest game update made recording work in both DX9 and DX11 modes. :D

You need to play the exported file in a media player program which supports AAC audio.
If all else fails, click on the "splash" link on top of this page - the Splash PRO player made by the very same people does an excellent job of exactly that. :)

Re: Games not working with Action 1.2.0

Thanks for the reply.

My Skyrim troubles are solved, as I edited my original post to reflect. :)
Only L.A. Noire remains problematic, and updating to 1.3.0 have not helped either. Thanks for investigating, much appreciated.
