of course, you can enable Detail Boost without enabling Motion2. just uncheck the Motion2 box and check the Detail Boost box.

Splash Pro was not designed to play DVDs, but you can drag the VOB files from your DVD to Splash Pro. Only problem is you can't navigate through the movie using DVD menus. Mirillis has an upcoming product designed specifically for DVD (I don't know if they have a release date).

have you tried disabling Motion2 and Detail and Light Boost? enabling these features will take a toll on your CPU since these are post-processing features and will use the CPU, not the GPU.
