I have a very powerful computer but as soon as i try and record at 4K my fps drops to about 15. Any suggestions? I can record at lower res fine with almost no performance hit.

I had the same problem. Best solution is to record in AVI original in Mirillis. Then you need to download virtual dub and the Xvid MP4 codec. Install the codec, then run VirtualDub. I recorded some gameplay footage using Mirillis Action. It was recorded using AVI at 1440P. I convert it using Splash EX Pro, Auto profile so its 1440P yet when its converted its changed the file to 1080P. Why? Is there anyway around this?? I want full 1440P quality!!
