I'm hoping the issue is either with the microphone or the USB cable itself (both of which I can replace if I need to). If it's a port issue on my motherboard, that will be much harder to try to fix.

I'm just glad I can record videos again, and I really like the Action! program.

An update: I determined the problem was caused by my Blue Snowball USB microphone. I moved the cable to a different port, and now it seems to work (which doesn't give me a lot of confidence), but I can always use my backup mic on my headset (which uses 3.5 mm ports).
