This often solves such problems with many programs - do a full re-install of it (Splash ) .

I sometimes get this strange problem . Movies which play usually OK , will for some reason play out of sync ( voice is few seconds before/after video ) , or the sound will come out in bursts , instead of smoothly . I have no idea what causes it , and the only solution is to reboot . Other Media Play...

EssenceMist - possibly you have more than one video stream there .
Right click within Splash , once you're playing your video , and you'll see entry "Video Track" .
If as said above , select a different track .

By the way , Potplayer brightness etc. do work normally , but performance wise , Splash is way ahead of any others .

Apologies - I was mistaken - the adjustments are working , but the difference I need is more than the 5 sec maximum.

I never succeed in getting Subtitle Synchronization ( in Settings/Subtitles ) to have any effect , for some reason - it just stays same , as though I did nothing .
Some special procedure required here ?
