I think it was the 1.25.3 patch that I started to notice dips on, I remember that the patch notes mentioned AMD, and the date seems to fit pretty good with Windows 10.

Re: AMD R9 Fury X performance issues during recording

I get pretty big FPS drops while recording, sometimes even up to 80 FPS! I'm still above 60 FPS in most games, but for demanding and not-so-optimized games it could be a problem. Is there a way to completely remove the CPU usage and purely use the GPU to record? Because it still uses a lot of the a...

.avi and .MP4(hardware) has the same impact on performance

Back when MP4(AMD) was introduced, I was blown away by the performance and quality of Action!. But several patches later, the quality started to look weird (Artifacting, smudged, etc.) , and even more patches later, the videos started to be extremely laggy. When the laggy videos issue got fixed, Act...

Action! works in complete random

It makes no sense, first it works perfectly fine and I get the HUD in the corner like usual, then the next time I start a game I have to restart my entire system just to MAYBE get a chance to get it work again. This started to happen only a few days ago when I had no updates from neither Windows or ...

What's the bitrate of Action!?

I've recently heard that the best render quality is to render the video in the same bitrate as you recorded the video in, but the problem is that I have no idea what the bitrate is. I have every setting maxed out in MP4 AMD APP and bitrate to max and quality to High. Specs: * CPU: Intel Core i5-3570...

Massive performance drop with AMD APP

I never noticed it until I turned off Timeshift, but I lose around 40 FPS when I'm recording! I don't know if it's Windows that's causing it, but the framerate seems about the same as it did with 8.1 except it's dropping a lot more now. Re: Can we please get a "look for updates" button?

Would definitely handy! When i reboot my computer and stay till the action finally managed to load, and there is a update for it, it would notify it and you can click on the little window but only once, until you reboot your computer again. So a Check for update would be handy to have Just once per...
