Action! shuts itself down just a second after starting up

As the title suggests, Action! just crashes immediately after I start it up. I will see the startup screen (with the version name and all) for a splitsecond, then it will just shut down. On the task manager, the "Action! (32bit)".exe will disappear shortly after the sartup screen disappears and I wi...

Re: Question I have related to the new Time-Shift feature

I didn't have similar issue with GTA V but try adding your launcher to exclude list: https://mirillis.com/en/products/tutorials/action-tutorial-exclude-list.html#top Does the launcher usually kill itself when the game is launched for you? It's random for me, but most of the time it won't go down fo...

Is NVENC better than AMD APP?

On my secondary PC (which got a GTX 760 and an i5-2400, pretty low end) I could easily make 1080p 60 FPS videos with no problems, but on my primary and more powerful PC (R9 280X, i5-3570) I can't reach 60 FPS at all on the output file. No matter what I tweak, it will always be 50 FPS or lower. This ...

Question I have related to the new Time-Shift feature

I've tried it out, and it's much better than I expected it to be (I expected it to be about as buggy as Shadowplay and AMD GVR when they were first made public). Unfortunately it's entirely useless for games running from a launcher (such as GTA V, Tomb Raider, etc.) because Action! still thinks that...

No "update available" notification?

For a few updates now, my Action! haven't given me a single notification about a new version, so I have to manually download the latest one from the changelog.

I have the box ticked in, but I rarely get the note.

OS is Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit. Never had this issue on my secondary Windows 7 PC.

Any plans for Vulkan support?

Vulkan is basically OpenGL 2.0 with Mantle features (reduces the load on the CPU a lot for Radeon users), and games are already implementing it. Rockstar Games confirmed that it would be used in GTA V https://twitter.com/amd_roy/status/583702029488402432 . Vulkan is planned to play a big part in fut...

It's working now, according to the Changelog.

I will try the new Action! version ASAP and report back.

Edit: Works!

Then it's not the file.

Try to repair your game and see if taht works. Frostbite is infamous for DirectX crashes.

All the file does is to automatically type in the console commands in the game, and it has nothing to do with game incompatibility.
