Elgato HD60 s+ accpets 4k as an input and can passthrough 4k. But it encodes only in 1080p.

It is basically the same product, but rember that Steam version can be started only through Steam client.

Try to setup different primary sound device and see if the same problem occurs.

So it is the second audio device that is crackling?

Either Windows update or new graphics drivers caused this problem. We will try to recreate this issue.

Could you please send us screenshots from following tabs:
- Video Recording (showing all options),
- Microphone settings,
- Settings -> Audio.

Try disabling HDR in Windows display settings and see if that helps.
