It's best not to use Detail Boost or Light Boost as it damages the original image. It can also amplify compression artifacts.

In truth, it's not a problem but mere side effect. It is why it's best keep such features disabled regardless of the software/hardware (inc displays).

That's because for MCFI to work it needs minimum of two frames to interpolate the third and the forth frame, which causes lag. For an example, the latency between frame A and frame B of 24p content is ~42ms (1000/24). So 42ms + processing + insertion can mount to increased lag. So the audio must be ...

That is the job of MCFI responsible for converting low-motion to high-motion. It would seem mirillis have yet to implement it properly. But when its done, you should be able to control the amount of synthetic frames. PS: It would be ideal to shoot films in 48p with blur, but it's proving difficult. ...

You have to output the correct black level from the PC. If you have NVIDIA or ATI GPU, there should be an option in their respective control panels.

As for tearing, have you tried downloading the latest DirectX updates and updates the graphics driver?

It is very difficult to get MCFI operating correctly and its resource hungry. Many consumer manufacturers and software developers started exploiting the technology back in 2000.
