Just curious if anyone has tried it before I consider upgrading to Windows 10 preview.

Action does not work with newer Intel drivers. I have let them know, but so far seems like not a priority for them to fix it. Right now you must uninstall those drivers and go back to much older ones, like the "3412" version from early last year. Please email their support to fix this.

Action doesn't work properly with the more recent Intel gfx driver releases. I had luck with downgrading all the way back to the "3412" driver version. It's so old Intel doesn't have it any more, I had to find a copy on the guru3d site.

I had to downgrade my Intel driver all the way back several months to the 3412 version to get things working relatively reliably. Action 1.20.0.0 has not fixed this. Please let me know if you need any further details on my machine to fix it.

I see in the 1.20 release notes a pause feature mentioned, but I don't see a button or hotkey in 1.20 for it. How do we use it?

Using the recently released Intel gfx driver update (version 10.18.10.3958), any attempt to make longer desktop recordings (4 hrs+) result in Action 1.19.2 locking up at the end when you stop recording, resulting in a broken video. Windows 8.1.

I started having a similar problem after I recently upgraded my Intel gfx driver. Downgraded the driver back to the previous version and now Action works ok again.
