Re: WILL SPLASH SUPPORT BLU RAY & DVD DISC PLAYBACK

Thats nice to hear splash bd will support all these features. Will it support the ati 5xxx series cards with bitstreaming, not just from the blu ray disc but also iso or even better from file based. If it could bitstream from file that would set it apart from the competition. At this moment it will...

Re: Splash Lite Short Info

Hello applejack, Yes, that is true, Splash Lite supports hardware accelerated VC-1 playback on ATI GPUs (from HD 2xxx series up). VC-1 hardware acceleration for nVidia GPUs requires a different processing mode which will be supported in our VC-1 codec solution soon. It will also support WMV playback...

Could you please specify your graphics card vendor and model? It's probably Intel but an exact destription would help us in solving this problem.
Thanks!

Re: How to get best quality?

Hello Florin64x, If your computer specification allows you to select hardware acceleration (and you are not experiencing any visual problems) then we recommend to do so. The Best Quality mode is designed for systems where hardware acceleration is not available for some reason (either the GPU does no...

Re: Aero and Splash Lite

Hello Abacus. Please make sure that you have "Force video overlay" disabled in the video settings panel (Video output section). This should usually be disabled by default on Windows 7 except for Intel GMA945/950 (in this case Splash is forcing to disable Aero to improve display performance).
