Not playing one type of codec, and audio files?!?

Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:31 pm

Okey, the player is NICE LOOKING and FAST LOADING... SuperB !!

But....

It did not play the following video, only the sound in this file...
(http://*********moderated by admin*******)

So, that is a bit boring, because then the need for more codecs arised...
(vlc does support this file, as standard)

And also... a major point (if I and my friends are going to use this player as our main player)

It does not play any audio whatsoever... mp3, wav, or flac... seriously ?!!!??

Otherwise, it looks overall GREAT, it is very responsive, and it has a slick and nice design!!

Hello alexdata and welcome to our forum!

Splash playbacks xvid/divx videos with external decoders. We recommend using one of the most popular divx/xvid decoders available.

Audio files are planned to be supported.

Splash is still a brand new player and we keep improving it all the time.
We will add new features gradually.

Thanks for your feedback and understanding!
