I must say I'm also disappointed with this new installer. It's pretty tricky for someone with little knowledge to install it without the crapware.

It is somehow pathetic to use this stuff for a free product, when you have many other advanced versions that you charge for. You should have the Lite as an appetizer for those products, not a source of income and possible negative experiences ("This player has installed some shit on my PC, I will never try it again").

Besides every time I've bought a product from you (and I have all of them!), you have finished to update them. I bought Splash Pro, than EX, and now the update rate is quite low. Action may hold for a while... And if I'm correct, I might not be able to use Pro 2.0 because my key might not be valid for that upgrade. I see a bad tendency here, which is really sad, considering you have great products.

On Softpedia website, there is an offline installer without crapware. Just use a search box.

1. because of installer http://download.mirillis.com/files/Spla ... loader.exe is blocked by MS reputation services as fishing url.
2. because of installer .exe blocked by nod32 as potential malware.

If you are afraid that this installer may cause damage to your computer please contact our support team via support@mirillis.com and ask them for offline installer.

Why when people keep complaining you don't even give us a way to not install any adware? That content is not wanted and everything we want is to use your damn software. And, as a hint, it took me half a hour of waiting and still no splash software installed, damn idiots! Have you ever heared of "testing before putting it up to downloading"? I don't think so.
If you would have heared of that, your installer wouldn't be seen as a virus, by my firewall (Yep, even the damn firewall tells me this crap is an ad-ware! It's trying to modify windows settings, so why the hell are you still using that crap?)
