No video, only audio.

Hi there.

Here is my PC config:

COMPUTER: DESKTOP
GPU VENDOR: nVidia
GPU MODEL: AMD Sempron 2800+
1.61 GHz, 1,00 GB RAM DDR2 (no idea for the amount of VRAM)
ATI Radeon x700 PCI Express 128 MB

OS: Windows XP Proffesional SP3 x32

.....well here is my problem. When I start Splash it looks just great and I really want to use it but here's the problem When I start a movie with the Splash there's only audio but not video. I just dunno whats the problem cuz all other player works great but Splash is giving me only audio when I start a movie. Please help!

you cant run splash because your processor dont have SSE2... so thats why you dont have image...

you cant run splash because your processor dont have SSE2... so thats why you dont have image...

Hi All,

This is probably a different problem. Not all of AMD Sempron CPUs don't have SSE2 extensions (only Thoroughbred B/Thorton and Barton are not equipped with SSE2 but for example Paris and Palermo have SSE2). It seems the problem FRAGorDIE is describing here is somehow related to video display. We will further investigate this issue.

Hi, we would like to ask you for some more info to investigate the problem:
1) please open windows command line, run dxdiag and open "display" tab to check what is your exact graphics card model.
2) open Splash info panel during playback (press "i") and check what stream type and video are detected.
