I have two suggestions regarding the file types it supports

1. It should have an option to associate itself with them.
2. There should be a custom icon for each of them.

We are planning to add file associations options in the future.

Today :)

partially...
Splash Lite 1.4 installer assoccs video files by default (unfortunately we cannot change this with current installer software but will change it in the future).
Supported video files have individual icons.
