Also scrollbar dissapears: 4) I have one video file with HUGE bitrate. MPC-HC (using DXVA) playes it fine (ok, not fine - the player just hangs on so I can't pause or exit fullscreen... but it plays it without dropping frames).
1.3 drops much more frames (on fullscreen without showing info) - 1.2 playes this part better (with dropping frames, but only a few)... But this is extreme Blu-Ray rip - most of then doesn't have such high-bitrate scenes.
Maybe new statistics (that is working even when not showing - am I right?) eats up last cpu cycles?
And some small suggestions:
- Playlist & settings windows have too bright line in the top, imho.
- When exiting from fullscreen mode - playlist window appears with aero effects. And atracts to much attention (when still looking at player)...
I think it's better to return how it was (if it's possible)
Hope this will help to make the best player
P.s. Btw, I've finded information, why my ION netbook can't play 854x480 and 1024x576 with h/w acceleration:
So the reason was simple...All current third generation PureVideo hardware (G98, MCP77, MCP78, MCP79, MCP7A) cannot decode H.264 for the following horizontal resolutions: 769-784, 849-864, 929-944, 1009–1024, 1793–1808, 1873–1888, 1953–1968 and 2033-2048 pixel
