I am using Intel GMA 4500 MHD. When I try to use hardware acceleration (intel clear Video) there is a crash. Disabling resolves the problem.
Splash Lite 1.4.3 i 1.5.0
How can I use hardware acceleration?
This problem still exists with my configuration. 1080p videos are nearly unplayable with Lite 1.5 or Pro 1.2.2. Splash Lite 1.2 is still the best for 1080p, in fact it is the best player available. Tried MPC-HC, VLC, PowerDVD etc. Splash Lite 1.2 does the job best. What have you done between these releases to break smooth playback? Please fix it asap.BDX wrote:Video is still jerky with Splash Lite 1.4 like it was in 1.3. Reverting back to good ol' 1.2 where video is smooth. It's a shame because there is so many improvements in 1.4.
1080p 24p AVC/H.264, fullscreen, window, smallest window: stuttersHelios wrote:- is it stuttering on all 1080p contents (I mean 24p, 30p, 50p, 60p)
- is it stuttering on all video codecs (AVC/H264, VC1, MPEG2)
- is it stuttering on interlaced content (if so, we do test above with 1080i again)
- is it stuttering in fullscreen, window, smallest window
- is it stuttering on low bitrate, high bitrate streams
- is it struttering with 'force video overlay" option disabled, enabled
Looks like old graphics drivers issue. PLease try updating graphics drivers.janek 77 wrote:I am using Intel GMA 4500 MHD. When I try to use hardware acceleration (intel clear Video) there is a crash. Disabling resolves the problem.
