Some questions about Splash

Hello,
I just found out about this player and i think it's very good and has great potential. But i've noticed that the Splash Lite comes with Visual C++ mandatory installation. Why is that necessary? I've tried almost all the (video) players available on the market and not one of them comes with additional software to install. Will the future versions of Splash come with Visual C++? Will the Pro have it?

And some other questions:

-When will .wmv support arrive? I've search a bit and all i could find for an answer was "soon". Could you be more specific? This month? Or in April? Also, it would be nice if it could support .flv. I know it's not a HD format, but many people use it from time to time.

-Would you consider some sort of audio enhancement for future releases? Maybe something like SRS WOW, like the WMP 12 has? Or some sort of headphone surround virtualization?

Hi, thanks for your feedback.

Yes, Splash requires C++ redistributable.

WMV will not be available in first versions of Splash PRO. We plan to add this in the 2nd half of 2010.
FLV are included in long term future plans.

We are also planning audio enhancement solutions for future versions of Splash products, but first we will add some basic
audio controls like audio boost, and later equalizer or audio normalization.

We are developing Splash products from scratch, basic on our own codecs, and we need some time to develop all features that are planned. Thank you for you understanding and feedback!
