Hi!

I saw another forum thread but that was for ATI. I am using a Galaxy Nvidia 9600 GT OC and would very much so, enjoy using GPU acceleration. The options is unavailable. I am using the newest drivers from nvidia.com. Please let me know if there is anything i can test. Thanks!

Hi,

as you can see your graphic card supports only MPEG2 HW acceleration. Splash Lite has limited HW acceleration support (AVC/H.264 only).

I suggest to wait a day or two for Splash PRO release with full HW acceleration, download the trial and test. Please remember that only MPEG2 encoded video may be decoded with HW Acc. on your GPU. Other streams (AVC/H.264, VC1, DivX, etc.) will be still decoded on CPU.

regards,

You can always google for a freeware tool called DXVA checker, it will tell you what formats can be accelerated by your GPU and supported resolutions.

So can we expect PRO this week?
