I have some suggestions for new features:

* DVB-S, FM and Analog tv-tuner support.
* Better subtitles font-size customization.
* Option to change the height and font of subtitles.
* PGS subtitles support.
* FLV/F4V support.
* Showing language and channels info on "Audio tracks" list.
* WMV support.
* DVD support.
* Black bars crop for 4/3 videos that are actually 16/9 video.
* Hebrew GUI.
* Wider subtitles sync adjustment option.
* Make the information window "hover" so it will be possible to move it in/out the player window and to change it's size.
* Record option for tv-tuner.

My dvb card software (DVBDream ver. 1.4i) has an option to send the mpeg2 and h264 received streams to players using some kind of command line (see the attachement below). Can you add such feature to splash ? Such feature would be perfect providing that splash is the fastest player for h264 streams on my PC, and the DVBDream software cannot play them (it plays only mpeg2 with external codecs).

I would add a setting to change the background color. It's annoying to have to "feel around" with the mouse until I happen to hit on a control. Life would be simpler if I could see them and just click on them instead of hunting.

What are you talking about? The controls and the background color is different, maybe you have some bug.

It's not different enough for me. If you have flat screen maybe there's higher contrast, but I'm still using CRT. To me dark purple on black is not contrast. Anyway, what's the big deal of having an adjustable background color? It's one property on a form when you program it.

btw I doubt it's a bug since it looks the same on Windows 7 32 bit and Vista64 on 2 different PCs.
It's more likely that CRT doesn't distinguish dark colors on dark background like flat screen does.
Same with all these lame web sites with dark text and a dark background. It's a pita and there's
no good reason for it whatsoever.

Hi!

I have some more suggestions for new features:

* read metadata of mp4 video files
* media library
* import and export media library
* normal lists and smart lists
* preview in thumbnail in the same list/smart-list (like itunes)
* possibilite for use divx h.264 codec (this one is best quality when you advance fast in 1 seg, 1seg the video..)
* native support for 64 bits sistems.

with this will be perfect player and mirillis will be my hero!!! ;)
