Voted and told some other people to vote on it as well. I am curious if existing owners will be able to snag a Steam key for it, or if y'all are worried about too much abuse with owners giving away keys to others?

All our current Action! customers will receive a Steam key for free. About giving away keys to others. I guess Steam got this protected.

Thanks for the quick response, I ran into the answer a short while after on your Steam Discussion FAQ. Hopefully y'all will get greenlit on the 30th, but if not then, surely some time in the near future. :) Logitech Mouse giveaway promotions, Greenlight votings, video card price reduction deals... I'm glad y'all are making an effort to spread the word. Action! has problems, but I wouldn't use any other recording software.

Splash is the same way, it has problems, but rarely does software in these fields get released that's worth being excited about. It's mostly about the potential, because I believe in what y'all are trying to do and want you to succeed long enough to fully realize your visions.

Also, one more quick question. In the past I have seen games on Steam where you don't always want the latest version in case it messes with your customizations, or games where the Steam version of it has problems that the non-steam/older version doesn't. Will there be any licensing or installation problems if we have both the Steam and non-steam version installed in case one is preferrable to the other at a specific time?

We can answer that question once we get on Steam. When we get on Greenlit we will receive all their API so we can adjust Action! to work smooth with Steam and without it.

Congrats on getting greenlit. Will be interesting to see what y'all plan to do with the Steam API.
