Problems skipping/pausing

Splash doesn't work that well with CD's.I tried skipping on my 24 disc, and it just froze, Windows gave an error it stopped working, and i have to replay it all again.This happens on pausing, skipping through scenes(with the seek below)etc.It sometimes can happen even when playing the files that are on my HDD.I have the latest version, the latest drivers etc but it still freezes.Hoping fixes will come out soon.

Does it happen with all video file type and all video resolutions?
