On-screen playback/pause button

Wed Oct 06, 2010 2:17 am

The playback button that appears in window mode (paused/play button) sometimes show as paused when playing video and won't dissapear (it only dissapears in fullscreen mode). Please fix this bug because it's annoying and eats my video space when playing video.

Seems it won't dissapear even in fullscreen, also it shows the opposite action, playing = pause and pause = playing. Please fix :D

I only tested when opening network files. Can't try on local files right now. But i don't think it's normal.

I've tried to open file from a network (NAS, and from our local network with a domain), opened local files (AVI, MKV, MP4) but everything is working perfectly. The only problem: the right side of the pause/playback icon is "interesting".
An idea: try it on an other computer.

Could you please provide us a a list of actions (step by step, ie. 1) open splash 2) move to 2nd display 3) open file by drag and drop 4) go fullscreen with doubleclick etc) ) how you get this problem? And does it repeat every time when you repeat this actions?
At the moment we cannot repeat it on our PCs.

At this moment the problem seems fixed, after a system restart. If it happens again I will try to capture a movie with the bug.

It seems it happen when i open MPC-HC and Splash at the same time. Seems Splash now makes 2 playback OSD buttons, one on the video frame like normal and another somewhere outside of the video frame in the left position, or sometimes it keeps the button on top of video and won't dissapear. I can make a screenshot if that helps. If Splash is the only player open then this bug doesn't happen. It seems it might happen when MPC-HC uses EVR renderrer and that triggers the bug.
