setup.exe unsafe?

After i downloaded and activate the splash pro setupfile,
My AVG free edition detects malware.
i get a warning message, corrupted file

Is it safe to download and install Splash :?:
same problem occurs with lite version

i uploaded screenshot in attachment

Maybe it's corrupted under the download process. What is the exact size in bytes? Mine is 14,498,520 bytes.

i uninstalled AVG
it is not possible to unpack the file with winrar

File size is not correct and you have to able to extract the EXE file with winrar. Maybe you have a virus or something. Try Avira (http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus) or Microsoft Security Essentials (http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus).

no virus found after scan
but setup is still corrupted

have no clue why AVG is calling it malware. its a false positive.

dont want to get into a cock fight over AV's however if you are already to drop AVG then you might want to try avast instead. MSE ran chaos on my machine, wasnt good.

Splash lite and pro are safe, been tested via Kaspersky, and ESET NOD 32. clean and clear.
