Req: New ways to close the program.

Mon Dec 06, 2010 9:55 am

First of all I want to thank you for the auto full-screen implementation.

Then I have a request.

Is there any chance we could get an option to close the program with either "backspace" or "stop"?

This would remove the last function where one needs a mouse when using an MCE-remote for media playback, sure you'd still need it for the settings, but that's not really an issue since it's more of a one-time thing and not an issue in everyday use.

Would be great to just press a button on the MCE-remote to close the player when the movie is done.

Hi, you mean to add the option (in example in settings) to make Splash close the application on playback stop command?
I assume that you open Splash from a different application (media center) and after playback stopped you want to close Splash and go back to this app?

We added a shortcut shift+x for closing application.
END sounds ok for this functionality but it is quite close to pageup/down
and im affraid it could be pushed accidentaly.
