Win7 x64 bug?

Sat Jan 08, 2011 12:19 pm

It doesn't hide toolbar and mouse cursor under Win7 home premium x64 during the video playback (v 1.4.0). If I check "Disable desktop composition" in properties->compatibility, then it hides the toolbar, but not the cursor. I tried several compatibility modes, administration rights, but it doesn't help. Is it possible to hide mouse cursor under Win7 x64?

It works fine with me, I have Aero completely off. Maybe it's a bug only on your system.

Turning aero interface off solves the problem. Thanks. Also it works fine if you disable desktop composition, turn off video overlay, without any compatibility mode.

I think it should work with aero interface on also. I don^t like when my screen blinks everytime I run splash pro (with aero on and disabled desktop composition).

This also happens to me, on occasion splash fails to hide the mouse cursor. I just drag the cursor to my other monitor, but it's annoying.

Suggesting switching off Aero as a solution is a bit ridiculous, especially if Splash is claiming to be fully Windows 7 compatible.

Does it repeat with latest PRO 1.7.0? There have been some improvements made and it should work fine now.
