An annoying and persistent issue

Wed Apr 27, 2011 7:19 pm

Ever since it was released, Splash Pro has a major issue, it does not unload itself when it crashes and blocks the graphics card to 3D clocks. The graphic card reverts to 2D clocks only after a restart. I reported this issue a long time ago, but it seems that a major bug in my opinion is not taken into consideration. When will this be fixed ? I'm seriously thinking of going back to MPC-HC if this problem isn't solved.

Hi, we cannot repeat the problem with our testing PC with 4xx GTX cards in our labs.

When Splash PRO crashes?
Do you have some scenarios and can you repeat this with some specific files or actions?

It just crashed with a divx movie. The video card frequencies remained at 3D.

They should have reverted to 2D after the crash but they didn't. This issue is very annoying and is making me not using splash pro or export anymore. It's the same since the first release.

I can replicate this issue anytime with this file. It crashes in the same exact spot. Every time Splash crashes like that, the video driver is unburdened. It still thinks that Splash is running.
