Re: Splash PRO 1.7.0 & 1.7.1

Since updating to 1.7.1 I seem to be having a similar problem to what I had in 1.3.2 using a core i3-330M Intel HD Graphics, the video is not jerky and not smooth, although enabling video overlay seems to fix the issues. Below is the quote of my previous post problems from the other thread :

When enabling video overlay everything is okay but every time I run Splash Pro it changes my theme to WIndows 7 Basic.
I installed the old version and without video overlay I can play every movie without problems.
I'm having the exact same problem on my Core i3-330M, Intel HD Graphics system. Worked perfectly before the update and is jerky a hard to watch with the update. Video overlay makes it better, but also makes the windows basic graphics profile activate. Please help.

3D is planned for future versions.

There should be no changes in Splash that cause the prolem to appear again. Do you have all basic video controls in playback options reset?
Do you use any Picture2 enhancements?

It should be fine with Aero and no need to enable Overlay.
Check your graphic memory usage with GPU-Z. Aero takes more VRAM.
Have you tried Basic theme without Overlay too?
Can you set the shared video memory? Because it uses your main memory (RAM)
