Hi,

I have an MKV that I have taken from an owned music Blu-ray that has PCM uncompressed 5.1 surround sound (48Khz/24bit). When I try to play it through Splash PRO I dont get any sound. MKV's I've created with DTS-MA work fine.

In Splash PRO when playing the music MKV, If I right click and goto Audio track, its greyed out. I know the audio track is there as if I play it in SMPlayer it plays the sound but the video it stop start all the way through. With Splash Pro the video quality is excellent as always :D

I am bitstreaming via HDMI to a HD compatible AV Receiver.

Any help appreciated.

After doing some more research it turns out that this may be known problem with the MakeMKV software I used to make my MKV file.

Can anyone confirm though that Splash PRO player should be able to bitstream a LPCM 5.1 track to an AV Receiver ?

With HDMI bitstream we can successfully play LPCM 5.1 and 7.1.
