okay, using it

motion improved, and coloring seems more natural, less CG feel

still cannot display subtitles in some MKV files as good as KMP though

Make Motion 1080p Ultra available to fast i5 and i7 dual core CPU's too. When benching all threads of a CPU some dual core CPU's have faster pipes than some quads. I don't think limiting the process only to quad processors it's the best choice.

Great improvements, but, as always, my complain lies in the fact that Splash reached almost version 2.0 ( version that we'll have to buy all over again from what I understood ) and there are still no subtitle color, bold or italics supported. I hope you're not going to become like Cyberlink or Arcsoft and turn a blind eye towards customers request.

Yeah, as far as i can see it I'm not going to buy Splash Pro V2...
There hasn't been any real progress since v1.4 but we are already at v1.7... most of the updates should have received much smaller version number. Almost all Stability/features "improvements" are bug fixes and nothing more, no matter how they call it.

Mirillis should focus much more on the other versions and better communication with the customers.

Hi guys, I've got a problem about the subtitle while I am watching animes, and it is exactly the same of this:
EmaArg wrote:Hi there, i will first goin' to say that Splash PRO is not just great, it is the best player i've ever tried, specially the Motion2 feature, which is great to watch Full HD movies. BUT! here is the thing: i can't watch the movies (any format a tried: mpg, avi, wmv, mkv) with subtitles, because when i load them the video starts disappearing (it goes to black) when the subs appear in the screen. To explain it, it shows just one thing: the video or the subtitles.

I tried turning off Aero Theme, hardware acceleration, but the problem remains. I don't know anything about codecs and stuff (I guess it's a codec problem because i didn't find any topic with this problem).

The only solution i found is to activate "Overlay video", but when i start playing the theme changes to "Windows Basic" and it alters the colour configuration, and that is really annoying.

My PC: AMD Phenom II x4 945 3.0 GHz - Sapphire HD5770 DirectX 11 1 Gb - DDR3 1333 MHz 4 Gb Dual channel - Windows 7 x64.
Although he said he did solve it, I still don't know how to do it, he said:
EmaArg wrote:I finally get it working. I did a clean up and reinstalled all the codecs without directvobsub.

Cheers.
so, can someone help me with this? Thanks a lot
