Questions before purchase

Thu Apr 07, 2011 10:44 am

Hi!

I've been testing both splash pro and power DVD 10 and i have some questions before I make a decision. As far as i know only splashPro supports improved motion in mkv, so this is a strong value for you boys!
But i'd like to know, and it's important:
-are you planning to support idx/sub files?
-are you planning to reconsider the ultra motion 1080p with strictly 4 cores?will it be possible to use it with 2 cores/hyperthreading, etc...?
Edit:if not, can anyone tell me the difference between ultra motion 1080p and the normal motion aid?
Thanks in advance and congratulations for this stunning player!

Hi, thank you for a feedback.
We plan to add support for idx/sub but we do not know at the moment when this will be available. And yes, we consider to unlock ultra 1080p option for 2-3 core cpus,
but we need tomake some testing before we decide.

Thank you very much Ghost, that's all i needed to know, and now i'm sure that SplashPro is the best choice for me.
And for what i see, this forum is quite more effective than the powerdvd's one.
