This option is enabled by default from version 1.8.0 and it disables automatically Motion² for interlaced videos.
Please note that for some progressive files that are incorrectly encoded/described as interlaced you must disable "Automatic interlace detection" option to make Motion² work.

When enabling video overlay everything is okay but every time I run Splash Pro it changes my theme to WIndows 7 Basic.
I installed the old version and without video overlay I can play every movie without problems.
I'm having the exact same problem on my Core i3-330M, Intel HD Graphics system. Worked perfectly before the update and is jerky a hard to watch with the update. Video overlay makes it better, but also makes the windows basic graphics profile activate. Please help.

Any idea if my previously posted problem has now been fixed ? Will test it one I get home from work, but just wondered if it had been noted as there was no response on my previous post.

Awesome update! Many problems, from my list are solved:

1) After version 1.5.0 exit till now doesn't work hardware deinterlacing on 60i source on radeon video card; Solved
2) Not support 'ASS' and 'SUB' (from DVD) Subtitles;
3) On subtitles 'PGS' it is not displayed more than two lines;
4) On the menu opening by the right button of the mouse, doesn't work keyboard (arrows) - it is impossible to use remote controls;
5) Not support chapter in mkv;
6) Not support name track in mkv (support only track language).
7) Not support 4.0 (quadro) audio setup.
8) If audiotrack in mkv video file only one and it LPCM, it isn't play (silence) - is highlighted by red color. If it audiotrack compulsorily to choose, player under abnormal finishes work with an error. Solved

And one more serious problem:

9) Incorrectly decodes 6.1 FLAC and LPCM audiotracks (in mkv video files) for stereo audio-configuration (without center and sub chanell).

They all do. Even TVs. There's still no consumer grade real-time FRC that is capable of correctly converting low-motion contents to high-motion. So when the processing becomes too complex, FRC is disabled or only certain sections of the motion is processed.

But on the PC it's a different story. Developers can tap into the power of the GPU to massively increase detection and improve the quality of the synthetic frames. Can't wait for mirillis to bring out CUDA support for Motion2.

I know :)

that's why I'm saying it's much better than the last release that had a bunch of shudder borders around people and weird stuff, it's all gone now

I've been using this since 1.4.1
