So does this AC3-DRC only work with AC3 tracks? If the movie has DTS track, it seems it doesn't work at all.

The ultra 1080p option works fine on my i5 cpu, eats 85% of cpu resources but it works almost flawless.

Nice!

Core 2 Duos will probably need to be at least 4Ghz to run Motion2 Ultra 1080p, my C2D E8500@4.15Ghz has about 85% CPU usage when playing 1080p movies.

My laptop's i5-2520M @ 3.0Ghz (2 physical core + 2 HT core) (TurboBoost) is able to play with about 60% CPU usage (playing a 1080p movie, though its out-putting on my monitor at 1600x900)

I'm also wondering, this Motion2 Ultra only work on 1080p movies? Does this algorithm (don't see any artifacts! :D ) work for other resolution like 720p?

Hi,

On my notebook, I have 5 minutes for blank screen. It is not sleep. Just blank screen.

On my splash pro settings;
-I have force video overlay checked.
-I have hardware acceleration checked (it is Intel mobile 5 series GPU)
-I have best quality checked, detail boost and light boost are both checked and at 3
-I also have audio boost at 20

From time to time, I need to pause playing and leave notebook idle. That periods are often longer than 5 minutes which blacks the screen out. When I am back, and touch a button, or move mouse to get screen back, splash pro screen is black. I hit play button, and it is still black, I have sound though. If I click a time on the bar, and change the scene of play. Rarely, I get splash pro show the movie, most of the time I did not have it.

It is not full screen whan I have that problem mentioned above. Movie is played in a window smaller than my desktop.

Even though I am not sure if that is splash pro, or a feature of the OS, I wanted to share it here.

Why do you use force video overlay? :?

That's a solution I tried, and found on my notebook. I get freezes of a second in every 5-10 seconds while watching 720p movies. Force overlay stopped that freezes for me.

It is not my CPU causing freeze. Maybe my GPU. I do not know how to figure out.
