Hi and welcome to forum!
We expect Splash to be available around April/May.
We do our best to make it available before May, but it will not be released until we achieve high quality of the product.

We are putting some finish touches to Splash PRO and expect it to be ready in May 2010.
Some functionality will be missing and will be added in free updates (detailed info soon on our website).
Currently we are integrating Picture2, and next week we will publish some samples.

Hi,

Do you consider to let Real Alternative support splash?
Or will you develop rm decoder in the future?
I often watch rmvb file.
It's the key of purchasing splash player or not.

Wish splash is a real mutimedia player and multilingual.
May you open its base language file and give us the translation guide?
Some friends could translate English to their own language.
Like imgburn
We can download and use the language file.

That lets me have more interest in it.

Hi guys, thanks for your feedback!

We are getting close to finish PRO version.

We will consider to give out translation files for SPlash in the future.
But currently we met some legal issues and cannot do that.
We will start with around 12 languages and more localizations will be added gradually.

Our short term plans does not include rmvb as we are focused on high definition media.
This is our target and after we acheive our goals we will support lower quality formats.
We really cannot do everything at one time and we hope for your understanding.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I have known your focus before.
I just don't understand why you don't let Real Alternative Lite support splash player, like zoom player and jetaudio.
It's a pity I can't play rmvb file with splash in the near future.
I'll wait until it has the function.

Would the languages of splash have Traditional Chinese?
I don't mean simplified chinese.
They're different.

Oh, does it support unicode?

Thanks.

isaiah I don't understand why they should implement the support of rmvb when Splash is all about being HD player. I presume you are well aware of the difference in quality between rmvb and hd materials. Besides you can watch rmvb in any media player.
