Artifacts when playing mkv files on ATI card

Fri Aug 23, 2013 11:39 pm

So today i changed my video card from Nvidia to ATI - and now i have little problem:

Everytime i try to play any mkv file i have some "weird" dots all around(sometimes even outside player) - there's no problems on other players with same file format, only on splash pro. When i play avi files on Splash there is no problems.

Tried to reinstall all codecs and still nothing, any idea what may cause it?

I'm using Win7 Ultimate x64 and my graphic card is MSI HD5750 - before i was using 9500GT and there was no problems...

EDIT: Problem solved - i had to disable Hardware Acceleration in options. Still i'm not really happy, that this chipset is not supported :\

13.4

It's on all .mkv files - no matter what bitrate etc. as long as Hardware Accerelation is on.

It can be your GPU problem. Try to play with Windows Media Player 12, PowerDVD or MPC-HC

Most probably, MPC and other video players works just fine. Splash too, i just need to turn off hardware acceleration like i said.

Return to “Splash PRO”
