I think the license protection has it's role, but I never seen unhackable software at this date. The vast majority gets cracked in the date of launch btw.. So i don't see what is the purpose of making the software uncrackable, or if i got the whole thing wrong maybe somebody can explain why is this long wait soo long..
I believe quality software has it's loyal customers, and we(Splash loyal customers) demand the PRO version quicker, because this long wait is making us sad.

A thing that takes so long is not connected in any way with application technically, it is a bunch of formalities and bureaucracy. This is something we cannot fix or fight with. :(

Well, I am also interested in Splash PRO. But there is allready a nice and working sollution for free. I am watching HD MKV-s using real-time framerate conversion to 60/75/90 fps with almost no artefacts and soap effect for months now. You just need MPC-HC, ffdshow and avisynth with MVTools, everything is explained here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php ... 17&page=10 . It really works and looks great. Well, yes, for 1080p 24 to 75fps conversion (ideally for PAL TV at 50/100Hz artefacts and soap effect reduction, 90fps for NTSC) You need some fast hyperthreaded Core i7 class CPU, but I really doubt Splash would require anything less for 1080p, and we don't know anything about artefacts and soap effect yet. No doubt Splash Pro will be great player, but we allready have a working solution.

Come on, i want pro! :)

neograniceni: Ive tried avisynth and don't like it. Quality is nice but installation and using avisynth with ffdshow is too complicated for 99,5% users. Its unstable and better not to seek through a file cause strange things happen. A nice thing to play around for an expert but not for normal users.

Question to Ghost:

Will Splash PRO support further frame interpolation higher than 60p for ultimate video quality?

The first PRO version will support up to 60p conversion. Up to 120p support will be added in the near future (it will require 120Hz display).
