Uninstall KB2879017 update.
Cumulative Security Update for IE 10 for Windows 8 x64 systems.

If you can't uninstall, restore to a previous point before the update.
Mark the update as hidden within Windows Update so it doesn't update again.

If you do not see that update in the Windows updates, then you need to try an older driver. Some drivers are known to cause this issue and this is NOT a Splash Player problem it's your system

This may be result of the newest Nvidia drivers which resulted with removing CUDA support. Please try re-installing your application and remove all registry entries associated with your Splash player. It should restore your Splash settings to default.
