After trying to play the first video - Home (2009) 1080p mkv - the app crashed.
The second video - 4k porn from Naughty America - the same.
At least 720p seems to work properly: the third video I opened - Ant-Man.2015.720p.BluRay.x264-SPARKS - works.

What the hell have you been doing for the last three years? Previous versions couldn't play 4k videos, but at least could play 1080p videos without any problems. 2.0 seems to be an early beta which cannot even play 1080p. If I were you, I'd be ashamed.

For now:
1 Playlist format is the same, (nice) I have created a playlist generator. (no work)
2 class names are the same (nice) i have created a remote control program (no work)
3, Video playback is oke, opening is oke(faster) but 2160P content on a 1080P monitor stutters no smooth playback.
Cpu load is 60%

Is a 64bit version planned?

Motion interpolation (basically your "most advanced video improvement algorithm") is way worse than before

Splash 2 0 The New Splash Player Coming 2015

Good find Robert. I have been using Cyberlink PowerDVD but it is a fairly "heavy" application... slow to respond, but it does play my AVCHD discs. I will keep an eye on the Splash BD player.
