I'm excited, I hope will be worth this long wait. I'd like that new player keep the same hardware specs, at least for 720p/1080p files. I guess that some of the requests we've been posting along this years will be integrated in the new player.
I don't know if we will have to pay again, but this wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.
I hope the new version will be a success, so we keep getting more support, updates, new features and improvements. I'll spread the word!

Hi radi, I assume that you can't give us a release date, but at least could you point if it will be on 2015 Q2, Q3 or Q4 ?

I hope that new version will fix/improve/suport:

- TrueHD/Atmos in MKV not only mts.
- (DTS-MA)7.1 sound is shown as 5.1 in Information option (Audio Type)
- Audio controls 7.1 Settings (settings are only for 5.1)
- DTS:X (http://www.dts.com/news/articles/2014/1 ... sound.aspx)
- Windows 10 with Directx 12
- improved Light Bost/Motion 2

It's really difficult to provide such information at this moment. I guess it will be Q3 but this is only a guess.

for those who have purchased a license splash pro EX, it'll be a free upgrade?
