can you enchance subtitle support...
current support + options is very basic (IMHO)
not at all.. interface is intuitive and easy, but some specific options (standard in other players) is missing here...
i can't see all characters in my own language/country subtitles... I'm from Serbia (ex-yu) and , therefore, we using both latyn and cyrilic... your only option for non-english subcodes/subtitles are "system default"...
some people (like me) love to use english/usa/others location setting under regional settings...
can you add option to choose font using windows interface (or borrow options)... i need something as "choose script (central european/cyrilic/whatever) when choose unicode fonts (arial, verdana.....)
i sure you know what i mean.. plesae fix/improve/add that in next version
thanx!

I put this reply to revive this post
because of my questions about subtitles + comments from mirillis team (ghost)
looks like new version finally arrive, but subtitles support is same.. i no see many improvements for non-western subtitles (using unicode fonts)
i want to remind ghost/mirillis about this.... waiting for next release with improved subtitle support at all

We cannot use GPLs due to legal issues.

Font color, more font sizes etc will be available soon.
Subtitles improvements will be introduced gradually with free updates.

Zoom Player Max 7.0 has embedded DirectVobSub and it's a shareware , why Spash Pro can't do the same ?
Or better add "External Fillter" feature

New upgrade to subtitles but still the same problem, please solve it. I'm using spalsh since was a beta, it's the best player for HD content and it should be the best and at subtitles chapter. Anyway the classic font is very good.

I use hungarian characters in my subtitles and SplashPro displays it correctly.
Special characters: íöüóőúéáű ÍÖÜÓŐÚÉÁŰ
Please upload somewhere a subtitle to check it.

Another thing that would be great is if you could add more options to sub sync, the +/- 5 sec isn't enough for some of the subtitles out there (badly synced), something that i've found really useful in another player (GOM Player) was keybindings for +/- 100 milliseconds for subtitles (and for audio too).
