Splash PRO 1.2.0 and PGS support

Wed Sep 08, 2010 4:30 pm

Hi all,

first of all, thanks for creating this great player. I´ve been using the free version so far and updated to PRO this week. :D
Great player!

Now i have a question regarding the PGS support in the latest PRO version.

I have several m2ts files here containing subtitles in PGS format, they are selectable during playback of the file, but don´t appear. Maybe this support is not for m2ts files (maybe for different containers like MKV?).

Thanks for your help and keep up the good work!

Regards

This support is only for m2ts files :)
There may be subtitles in PSI base, but not present in the file. Please try some files from Camcorders, they should put proper base.
If still no effect, please specify some more details of your hardware/software configuration:
GPU, CPU, installed Service Pack.
Please try with Hw Acceleration disabled/enabled.
Please update to SP2 or SP3 if havent yet and install newest graphics card driver.

Thanks Helios for your post. I will update drivers and check my system. Graphic card is Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS, CPU Dual Core E6600, SP3 is installed. I´ll give you feedback as soon as tried it.

Thanks!!!
